Greenland Ice Water featured on CNTV in China
We are very proud that our story of Qanik Pure Iceberg Water tonight was broadcasted in China on CNTV. Steffen Deichmann-Bendixen, COO of Greenland Ice Water, expressed the companies goals and visions within the next 3-5 years. Part of our go-to-market strategy is to enter the chinese market and currently we are talking with different distributors and business partners in China, starting with Beijing and Shanghai. Greenland Ice Water is working closely with the Royal Danish Embassies in Asia to locate strong distributors and business partners. The interview was broadcasted at 22.21 in the CNTV evening news section.

Qanik pre-launches in Portugal
Qanik participated at fine waters yearly summit 2011 at Vidago Palace in Portugal as the only Greenland Iceberg water company and received great admiration for our design for our PET bottle. We were very proud to have the other participants of the fine waters summit to taste our iceberg water and it was enjoyed by everyone.

Naalakkersuisoq / Minister for Industry, Ove-Karl Berthelsen, Destination Avannaa, local premium water producers and Dr. Michael Mascha from FineWaters attended the Greenland Premium Waters Workshop in Ilulissat on November 11, 2010. The workshop was initiated by Destination Avannaa A/S to discuss the current status and future potential of Premium Waters sourced from Greenland.
One of the outcomes of the discussions was for the participants to call for the creation and legal establishment of a Controlled Origin Designation label for all Greenlandic water products within 12 month.

The most ostentatious is the new “Water Bar” at Shinsegae Department Store’s main branch in Sogong-dong, Jung District, where manager and “water adviser” Seo Sung-wan mans the taps. “When I first started this job in August last year, people’s reaction was mostly puzzled, and some were outright dismissive,” he said. “Now perception has changed, and many regular customers even buy premium brands – higher-priced, mineral-enriched labels – in bulk.”
